RICS Home Survey Level 2

A Level 2 Homebuyers Report provides valuable insight on properties of standard construction and in seemingly good condition. During the assessment, our team will take a non-intrusive visual inspection at accessible vantage points to gather necessary information – without trespassing onto others’ private property. We also aim to gain further knowledge about the property by having discussions with its existing owners whenever possible. At completion, an informative report is provided that outlines any visible defects we detect as well as advice on how best to proceed. To ensure your property investment is in the best shape possible, we offer comprehensive evaluations that may require further information from your legal adviser. That way, you can have confidence while making a decision and be sure of gaining maximum value when purchasing!

RICS Home Survey Level 3

A Level 3 Building Survey can provide invaluable insight into the current state and future maintenance of a property, allowing potential homeowners to make educated decisions prior to purchase. This survey will cover any existing or likely-to-develop defects along with an assessment of their cause, suitable repairs and implications should those be neglected. The results are presented in a comprehensive report complete with photographs for further reference during ownership if needed.

With a Level 3 Building Survey, customers are provided with the most comprehensive evaluation of their potential property. This includes an optional cost estimate offering guidance on necessary repairs or renovations; however it is important to note that construction costs in today’s market can be highly unpredictable and so this type of estimated pricing should not be considered definitive.

Using drones for our surveys

Richmond Futures are licensed drone surveyors. Where it’s a appropriate, we have the skills and equipment to utilise drone footage. Drones allow us to inspect higher up areas of your property where we can check the condition of your roof, gutters, chimneys and windows.

Why we use drones for our surveys?

The greatest advantage of using drone footage, is the cost effectiveness. To survey high places, typically you would need to hire scaffolding and deal with the organisation & logistics that comes with it.
Drones allow us to view out of reach areas quickly and effectively without interupting you, your neighbours or the local council.
This is an another element that makes our building surveys unique and more thorough than our competitors
